Call for Papers
We invite researchers, academics, and practitioners to submit original research papers to the 1st Scientific Conference on Contemporary Tourism Issues (CTI 2026).
About the Conference
The 1st Scientific Conference on Contemporary Tourism Issues (CTI 2026) is organized by Van Lang University, aiming to create a premier academic forum for exchanging research findings, innovative ideas, and practical solutions addressing contemporary challenges in the tourism and hospitality industry.
The conference welcomes submissions from domestic and international scholars across six thematic tracks. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings (with ISBN) and outstanding papers will be recommended for publication in indexed journals.
Research Topics
CTI 2026 welcomes original contributions in the following six thematic tracks:
Sustainable & Eco Tourism
Green tourism development, natural resource conservation, community-based ecotourism, and responsible tourism models.
Digital Transformation in Tourism
AI, big data, IoT, and virtual reality applications in tourism management and experience; smart tourism.
Hotel & Restaurant Management
Accommodation and food service management strategies; enhancing service quality and customer experience.
Cultural & Heritage Tourism
Preserving and promoting cultural heritage values in tourism; spiritual tourism, festivals, and traditional craft villages.
Tourism Marketing & Communication
Destination branding, digital marketing, social media communication, and tourist behavior.
Tourism Human Resources & Training
High-quality tourism workforce training, professional competency development, and industry HR standards.

Authors may submit in either of the following formats
Abstract
- •300–500 words
- •Written in English or Vietnamese
- •Include: title, objectives, methodology, key findings, and keywords (3-5)
Full Paper
- •8–15 pages
- •Formatted according to the conference template
- •Must include: introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, and references

Please ensure your submission follows these formatting guidelines
- ✓File format: .doc, .docx, .pdf
- ✓Font: Times New Roman, 12pt
- ✓Line spacing: 1.5
- ✓Paper size: A4
- ✓Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
- ✓Blind review: Do not include author names or affiliations in the manuscript file
